AI for Small Business: Smarter Ways to Use ChatGPT and AI Tools (webinar)

June 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia is excited to partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration Washington Metropolitan Area District Office, featuring Nirav “Nick” Rajpara, Economic Development Specialist, and the American Psychological Association, featuring Bernadette Han, PhD, Head of Learning & Development Operations and Continuing Education, Business Innovation & Growth, for the webinar “AI for Small Business: Smarter Ways to Use ChatGPT and AI Tools.”

Tools like ChatGPT can help save time, support marketing efforts, improve productivity, and fill skill gaps—but inaccurate outputs, over-reliance, or poor judgment can create real business consequences.

This webinar is designed for small business owners who are already using—or considering using—AI tools in their work. Focused primarily on generative AI chatbots like ChatGPT, the session explores practical ways to use AI more effectively, responsibly, and strategically in everyday business tasks.

Drawing from psychological science and real-world chatbot behavior, attendees will learn how to evaluate AI outputs, improve interactions, and stay in control while using AI tools. Using relatable examples and real AI outputs, the session shows how to use AI as a leverage tool without sacrificing judgment, originality, or confidence.

What You’ll Learn

  • How AI tools like ChatGPT can help small business owners save time and work more efficiently
  • Simple ways to fact-check, refine, and guide AI responses more effectively
  • A practical framework for knowing when to trust AI—and when to verify results
