Action items between sessions have included:
- Consider a business plan! Resources can include SBA’s “Write Your Business Plan” page and SCORE’s webinar with the template “One Page Business Plans: Simple and Highly Effective.”
- Calculate your startup costs! Review the SBA page “Calculate your startup costs” and complete the “calculate startup costs” edible PDF OR go to SCORE’s Business Planning & Financial Statements Template Gallery and utilize their “Startup Expenses” template.
- Consider attending CBP Webinars like “Registering Your Business”
- Consider attending the Entrepreneurship 101: Starting a Business in Fairfax County Workshop (can still be valuable if you are not directly in Fairfax County)
- Review your city or county’s business page, such as Fairfax County’s Starting a Business Page.
More about the cohort:
- To provide flexibility, we do not require attendance at every session.
- It will provide action items between sessions.
- It will encourage active engagement from introducing yourself to sharing the results of activities.
- It will serve as a small networking opportunity with other entrepreneurs!
- It will be recorded and made available to others in the sessions and beyond.
