Joanna Schindler

Joanna Schindler, Of Counsel, is serving primarily in the Geller Law Group’s Business Law Practice.

With a background in business and family law, Joanna is well versed in all areas of the litigation process, as well as commercial transactions. Throughout her career, she has counseled clients to reach creative solutions to conflicts, often resulting in resolutions that are successful and cost effective.

Joanna is passionate about child advocacy and is qualified as a guardian ad litem for children in Virginia. Additionally, she has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children in Fairfax County.

Joanna received her J.D. from George Washington University and a B.A. from Michigan State University. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.

Residing in Northern Virginia with her husband, Chris, Joanna is a mom of two young adults, one teenager, and two doodles. In her spare time, she enjoys paddle boarding, cycling, tennis, gardening, writing, cooking, and attending baseball games—both her son’s and the Washington Nationals.
